My Story

I have always known that I wanted to work in service to others. From my time in the Boy Scouts of America, where I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018, to my work as a professional firefighter for the City of Auburn, I have derived no greater fulfillment than from helping others. This was my motivation for earning a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University. In the MPA program at Auburn, I have learned about everything from public administration theories to nonprofit law and governance to qualitative and quantitative research methods in political science. These subjects have furthered my ability to be an effective public administrator, and I have had the opportunity to apply these skills in my recent roles in airport operations and emergency services.

When I am off the clock, you can find me studying or reading at the best coffee shops in Auburn, playing trivia with my friends--I'm the dedicated geography and hockey expert--or hiking on Alabama's most fantastic trails.
